School Closure - June 29th

Dear Gilmore families,

We hope you are finding ways to avoid this heat as much as possible. We have received an update regarding school closure due to heat for tomorrow (Tuesday, June 29th)

Attached, please find a letter from Scott Robinson, Richmond's Superintendent of Schools.

The plan for us at Gilmore for tomorrow (Tuesday, June 29th) is the following:

K - 6 students

Students can pick up belongings at 8:45am. Students will line up at the usual location, pick up belongings, and bedismissed immediately after. If students do NOT have to pick anything up from school, we ask that parents/caregivers keep their children home tomorrow (Tuesday, June 29th).

Gr 7 students:

Students are asked to line up at their usual location at 11:15am. Students will pick up their belongings, then go to the undercover area with Mrs. Hill and Mr. Di Nota to pick up their sushi lunch & Gr 7 gift bags. Students are dismissed immediately after

Thank you for your support in keeping students safe.
